Terms of Use

A practical website-terms template for a property-care business.

Template notice: Replace and review this page before launch. The correct terms depend on your services, contracts, local property obligations and jurisdiction. This page is not legal advice.

1. Website use

This website provides general information about the services offered by Northstead Property Care. Visitors may use it for lawful purposes, including learning about the business, reading property-care guidance and submitting an enquiry or quote request.

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit malicious content or use automated methods in a way that disrupts normal access.

2. Quotes and service agreements

Website descriptions are general information and are not a binding offer unless expressly stated otherwise. The actual property-care service should be governed by the written quote, order confirmation, service specification or other agreement accepted by the client and provider.

A quote may rely on information provided by the client. Material differences in property size, number of access points, recurring workload, visit frequency or site conditions may require the scope and price to be revised.

3. Property-care scope

The service agreement should identify the tasks, areas, frequency and reporting responsibilities included in the recurring property-care routine. Tasks not listed in the agreed scope should not automatically be treated as included.

Examples may include routine inspections, common-area cleaning, bin handling, agreed exterior care and clearly defined minor non-specialist tasks.

4. Specialist and regulated work

Unless the provider is separately qualified and contracted for the work, electrical, gas, major plumbing, structural, fire-safety, hazardous-material and other regulated or safety-critical work should be carried out by the appropriate qualified specialist.

Routine property care may include identifying and reporting an issue without diagnosing or repairing a specialist system. The production terms should state the escalation process and any emergency responsibilities that actually apply.

5. Access and client responsibilities

The client should provide the agreed access, keys, codes, contact routes, parking information and site instructions needed to deliver the service safely and lawfully. Known hazards, restricted zones and relevant building rules should be disclosed before affected work is carried out.

Local duties for winter service, waste management, access safety and other property obligations vary. The real service agreement must reflect the law and responsibilities that apply to the property.

6. Prices, invoices and payment

Prices, taxes, invoice timing, payment deadlines, cancellation arrangements and charges for additional work should be stated in the applicable quote or contract. This website template does not create commercial payment terms.

7. Website accuracy and liability

Reasonable care should be taken to keep website information accurate, but property conditions and service requirements vary. General website content should not be treated as technical, legal, safety or engineering advice.

Nothing on this page is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The final terms should be reviewed against the mandatory rules that apply to the real business and its clients.

8. Applicable law and disputes

Replace this paragraph before launch. Insert the governing law, jurisdiction, dispute-resolution route and any required commercial or consumer disclosures for the business location and customer type.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@example.com.

Last template review: September 2026. Replace this date when the production terms are reviewed.
